What is StreamNavigator

We tell you exactly what to do. You make the change.

Most people are quietly paying for three or four streaming services they forgot about or only need part of the year.

You tell StreamNavigator what you're subscribed to and what you're watching, and it shows you exactly where you're overpaying.

It tells you exactly when to pause, downgrade, or bring a service back — with a direct link to make the change in one tap.

Once you tag what you're watching, this happens automaticallyPRO

  • ✓ A direct link to pause, downgrade, or cancel what you're not using
  • ✓ A reminder to bring it back, timed to what's worth watching
  • ✓ A price-change log, so a quiet hike shows up against every service

Find out what you can stop paying for

Three things: what you subscribe to, when it renews, and what you actually watch. We check the real TV schedule and tell you what to switch off and exactly when to switch it back on. Runs in your browser — nothing is sent anywhere, and there is nothing to sign up for.

One tier, because there is only one thing worth charging for: watching the schedule so you don't have to. If a year of it doesn't save you several times what it costs, cancel it — the analyzer above stays free either way. Payments are processed by Stripe; StreamNavigator never sees your card. Cancel anytime.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can't find what you're looking for? Reach out — we read every email.

You type them in — the service, what you pay, and the date it renews. That renewal date is the important one: it's the difference between "you could cancel Netflix" and "cancel Netflix by Tuesday or you'll pay for another month you don't want". Then you name the shows and sports you actually watch, and we check the public TV schedule for when they're on.
Yes — because there isn't any to connect. We never link to your bank or card statements, and we never ask for a streaming login. Every subscription in your list is one you typed in yourself. Your password is hashed by Supabase and never stored in plain text, and if you subscribe, your card goes straight to Stripe and never touches our servers.
Two rules, and they're the whole product. We only tell you to switch something off if it skips a real charge — if your show is back before your next renewal, we tell you to keep it, because cancelling would cost you a resubscribe to save nothing. And we only tell you to switch it back on against a date we can actually point at: an episode with an announced air date, or the start of a season. If nothing is scheduled, we say so and stay quiet. We will never tell you to start paying again because a month has passed.
We never log into Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ or anything else — there is no connection to them, and we cannot see what you watch or what you were charged. Everything you track, you typed in. The one automated piece is a daily check of TVmaze, a free public TV schedule, for the shows you named. That's it. No passwords, no bank link, nothing else running.
No — and be sceptical of any subscription app that says it can. Almost no streaming service offers a way to cancel or pause on someone else's behalf, so we can't, and we won't pretend otherwise. What we do is tell you exactly which day to do it and what it saves, and hand you a direct link to that service's own account page. We also tell you which services genuinely offer a pause and which only offer cancel — on the cancel-only ones you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for, so the timing matters even more.
Click "Manage billing" in the footer, log in, and select Cancel Plan — no phone calls, no retention pitch. You keep access to the end of the year you've paid for and won't be charged again. (That cancels StreamNavigator itself — the next question is about cancelling a streaming service like Netflix.)
Stripe processes your card, not StreamNavigator — your card number never touches our servers. When you pay, the funds first land in Stripe's own merchant balance, the same way it works for any business using Stripe. From there, Stripe pays that balance out to StreamNavigator's verified bank account on a regular schedule, typically within a few days. StreamNavigator never holds or stores your money directly at any point — Stripe sits in the middle of every transaction, start to finish.
Nineteen services come with current published pricing and plan tiers built in — Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+, Paramount+, Hulu, Peacock, Apple TV, ESPN, YouTube TV, Fubo, Sling, Starz, AMC+, Discovery+, Crunchyroll, MLB.TV, NBA League Pass and NFL+. Anything else, type the name and what you pay. We can still tell you when it's idle; we just can't check its plan tiers, because we don't hold pricing for it.
It depends entirely on how much you currently pay for things nobody in your house is watching, so use the analyzer above — it uses your real prices and your real renewal dates and gives you your own number in under a minute. As a rough guide from the households we've modelled: one or two services and not much idle time, $0–60 a year. Three or four services, $90–200. A big household with sports and a lot of between-season gaps, $240–360. If your number comes out under about $60, we'd honestly rather you didn't subscribe.
The analyzer on this page is free, needs no account, and always will be. One paid tier at $19.99 a year covers your whole household, and buys the one thing the free page can't do: checking the schedule every day so the restart date finds you.
