Terms of Service
Effective date: September 5, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and StreamNavigator LLC ("StreamNavigator," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of streamnavigator.ai and its Navigator tools (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. The service
StreamNavigator provides a set of independent, AI-generated tools ("Navigators") that give informational guidance on decisions like reviewing a contractor's estimate, comparing streaming subscriptions, or understanding an HOA budget. None of the Navigators are licensed financial, legal, tax, insurance, or contracting advice, and none of them are a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Where a Navigator references acting on your behalf (for example, providing a direct link to cancel or downgrade a subscription), it does not automate or execute that action for you — you complete it yourself.
Some Navigators (for example, Contractor Navigator) generate a report using AI analysis of documents you upload. AI-generated output can be incomplete or inaccurate, and you should independently verify anything important before relying on it — see Disclaimers.
3. Accounts
Some parts of the Service, such as the Streaming Navigator dashboard, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to notify us at hello@streamnavigator.ai if you believe your account has been compromised. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
4. Payments & subscriptions
Most Navigators are purchased as a one-time payment processed by Stripe. Streaming Navigator also offers optional Pro and Family subscription plans, billed monthly through Stripe; you can manage or cancel a subscription from the billing link in your dashboard. Fees are shown to you before checkout and, unless otherwise stated on the page, are non-refundable once a report has been generated or a subscription period has started. If something goes wrong with a payment or a report, contact hello@streamnavigator.ai and we'll work with you to make it right.
5. Your submissions
When you upload a document or submit information to a Navigator, you confirm that you have the right to share it with us and that doing so doesn't violate any law or any other party's rights. You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant StreamNavigator and its service providers (see our Privacy Policy) a limited license to use, store, and process your submission solely to provide the Service to you.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's data; interfere with or disrupt the Service; upload malicious code; or use automated means to scrape or abuse the Service outside of normal use. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL NAVIGATOR OUTPUT AND AI-GENERATED REPORTS, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't guarantee that any Navigator's analysis, price comparison, savings estimate, or recommendation is complete, accurate, or up to date, or that it will result in any particular outcome (including any specific savings amount). Always verify licensing, insurance, permits, pricing, and terms directly with the relevant contractor, service provider, insurer, or government agency before making a decision.
Closing Disclosure Navigator. This Navigator reads documents you upload and reports arithmetic and consistency observations about them. It is not legal advice, not a legal opinion, and not a determination of compliance with TILA, RESPA, the TRID rule, or any other federal or state law. We are not your attorney, your settlement agent, your escrow agent, your real estate broker, or your lender, and using the Service does not create any of those relationships. We do not review your loan file, we see only the pages you give us, and a finding is a question worth asking — not an established fact and not a demonstrated overcharge.
Where the Service drafts correspondence for you to send to a lender, settlement agent, or other party, those drafts are provided for your review and remain your communication. You are responsible for reading and verifying every figure and statement in a draft against your own documents before sending it, for deciding whether to send it at all, and for its contents once sent. Closings are time-sensitive: nothing in the Service extends any deadline, and you should not delay a closing, withhold funds, or refuse to sign in reliance on Service output without first consulting a qualified professional.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STREAMNAVIGATOR LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, SAVINGS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER THE CLAIM IS BROUGHT IN CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE ABOVE, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR: A DELAYED, REPRICED, OR TERMINATED CLOSING OR OTHER TRANSACTION; A LOST DEPOSIT, RATE LOCK, OR CONTRACT RIGHT; ANY AMOUNT YOU DID OR DID NOT RECOVER FROM A LENDER, SETTLEMENT AGENT, OR OTHER PARTY; ANY CONSEQUENCE OF CORRESPONDENCE YOU SENT AFTER REVIEWING A DRAFT PREPARED BY THE SERVICE; OR ANY ISSUE IN YOUR DOCUMENTS THAT THE SERVICE DID NOT DETECT OR REPORT.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER. THIS CAP APPLIES IN THE AGGREGATE ACROSS ALL CLAIMS AND IS NOT MULTIPLIED BY THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS, REPORTS, OR DOCUMENTS.
These limits are an essential basis of the bargain between us and apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the least extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Dispute resolution & arbitration
Please read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between us are resolved, and it requires most disputes to go to individual arbitration instead of a court with a jury.
Talk to us first. Most problems can be solved quickly. Before starting arbitration, you agree to email a description of the dispute and the relief you want to hello@streamnavigator.ai, and to give us 30 days to try to resolve it. We agree to do the same before bringing a claim against you.
Agreement to arbitrate. If we can't resolve it, you and StreamNavigator LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be held in the county where you live, or remotely by phone, video, or written submission, at your choice. The arbitrator decides all issues except that a court decides whether the class-action waiver below is enforceable. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. YOU AND WE ARE EACH GIVING UP THE RIGHT TO A TRIAL BY JURY.
Class-action waiver. Disputes will be brought only in your or our individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, coordinated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may award relief only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief warranted by that party's individual claim. If this paragraph is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request will be severed and heard in a court of competent jurisdiction, and the rest of this section still applies to all other claims.
What is not covered. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either of us may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property. Nothing here prevents you from reporting a concern to a government agency.
Your right to opt out. You can decline this arbitration agreement and class-action waiver. Email hello@streamnavigator.ai with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out," your name, and the email address on your account, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out affects nothing else in these Terms and will not affect your use of the Service in any way.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service, or ask us to close your account, at any time by emailing hello@streamnavigator.ai. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe doing so is necessary to protect the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act, applicable federal law, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, where StreamNavigator LLC is formed, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the state where you live. For any dispute not subject to arbitration under Section 9, you and we consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
